Locked Out Demo

The game takes place in a "world where everything goes right" (or “the perfect world”). This is a world without conflict, leaving its residents to simply live in peace without any worries.

However, there exists a mysterious door that leads to a world where everything goes wrong (or “the other world”; depending on interpretation, this can be our world). It is a world where conflict is constant, and the only peace that exists is a negative peace (described as the simple lack of conflict, as defined in the reading by Heywood). 

This door appears randomly to a resident of the perfect world, who may choose to open it.

The game was made in partial fulfillment for Contemporary World (GEWORLD), to be submitted to our professor.
